About Me

I am an educational psychologist and cognitive scientist as well as a lecturer in Psychological Science at UTRGV. I have held teaching and research positions at the University of Colorado, Florida State University, and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research.

I am an expert in teaching students how to succeed in college and career. I can assess your student's strengths and weaknesses, and develop a personalized plan to help them matriculate into college and pursue a rewarding career. Whether your student is unsure about what professional path to pursue or just needs some extra guidance, I can help.

Contact me today to schedule a consultation and learn more about how I can help your student reach their full potential.

Among the consultations I offer are:

  • Assessment of your student's academic and professional skills, aptitudes, and goals
  • Development of a personalized success plan
  • Coaching on study skills and workplace behaviors to help students succeed
  • Research

My research has been published in scholarly journals that run the gamut of social science from psychology to education to computer science. My scholarly interests include cognitive development, learning and memory, human-computer interaction, and social science research methods.
